Spyki (born Nnadi Emeka Mathew on May 15, 1998) is a rising Nigerian pop and Afrobeat artist from Nsukka, Enugu State. Known for his emotionally driven sound and relatable storytelling, Spyki began his music career by writing and recording music in secondary school, where he co-founded the school’s first music group and gained local recognition for his rap talent.
Growing up in a financially challenged environment, Spyki supported his musical aspirations by working as a bricklayer and running a small clothing business. His career breakthrough came with the single “Matter,” which was inspired by his personal struggles and went viral on TikTok despite limited initial promotion. His current major project is the upcoming six-track “Big Foot” EP, set for release in 2025, which features the popular “Ofeke Remix” with Nigerian star rapper Phyno.
